Topograful Meu - Showcase Website for Surveying and Cadastre in Timișoara
Topograful Meu is the website of Aerial Mapping, an ANCPI-licensed surveyor (category B) working in Timișoara and across Timiș County. We built a site that explains in plain language what job property owners need, which documents to prepare and what it costs, while presenting the company's services for businesses: on-site surveying support, 3D scanning, orthophoto maps and aerial drone footage.
Key Features
- Guidance based on the visitor's situation - "I'm building a house", "I need paperwork" or "I'm a company" lead straight to the right service, and "Your house, step by step" shows the path from the topographic plan to land registration
- A dedicated page for every service - staking out buildings and property boundaries, topographic surveys, land registration of new buildings, splitting buildings into units, plot division and merging, topographic plans for building permits
- Public prices - starting fees including VAT, shown separately from the OCPI fees, plus the factors that affect the final price
- Quote requests with attached documents - a quick form on every page and a full form that accepts up to 5 files (land register extract, permit, plans)
- Case studies - real projects filterable by type (topography, cadastre, construction sites, 3D scanning, orthophoto and DTM), all with the same structure: challenge, what was done, equipment, result
- Local pages - Timișoara, Dumbrăvița, Giroc and Chișoda, Moșnița Nouă, Ghiroda and Giarmata-Vii, Săcălaz and Sânmihaiu Român, Lugoj, with a map of the areas served
- Guides - explanatory articles on cadastre, land registration and the documents required

About the Project
We started from the questions people usually ask a surveyor: what is the difference between cadastre and land registration, which documents are needed, how long it takes and how much it costs. The site answers them directly on every service page, and prices are shown openly, with the OCPI fees listed separately.
The design grows out of the client's trade: the hero is a network of survey points with coordinates, and the black and orange palette comes from the Aerial Mapping logo. For visitors arriving on a phone, the call, WhatsApp and quote buttons are always within reach.
Technologies Used
- Custom PHP website with a contact form that accepts file uploads
- Frontend built with HTML, CSS and JavaScript
- Images in AVIF and WebP formats, with lazy loading
- Schema.org structured data: ProfessionalService, services with offers, FAQ, opening hours and areas served
- Security: a strict Content Security Policy, HSTS and strictly necessary cookies only
Results
Topograful Meu gives clients in Timiș County a place to find out on their own which job they need, which documents are required and what it costs, while Aerial Mapping receives quote requests that already come with the documents attached.
